Jarpsy are an indie alt-rock band from Sunderland in North-East England specialising in the brand of alternative they dub 'council pop'.

From humble beginnings, as school friends jamming in a spare room, the band evolved into the underground gigging powerhouse they are known for being. Every show is dripping with an effortlessly slick swagger which can only be produced by a band of brothers who are well and truly in their stride.

Despite starting life as a bread-and-butter indie rock band, the songwriting prowess of the four members of Jarpsy finds their forthcoming releases foraying into the territories of psychedelia, electronic, synth-pop, and permanent wave; the indefinable mark of the true 'alternative' band.
